I'm Mitchell and I am a Marketing and Communications for Fashion Graduate, completing my degree with a 2:1. Whilst I was studying, I gained valuable Visual Merchandising experience at Primark. Since graduating, I landed a job at the Estée Lauder Companies as a Content Producer Apprentice for Smashbox, GLAMGLOW, Bumble and bumble and Lab Series, where I looked after their social media. I was part of this team until June 2022, until some of the brands left the UK. After this, I completed my apprenticeship and was placed in the Corporate Affairs team where I designed and executed the UK Breast Cancer Campaign 2022, which was amazing experience.  

 

In October 2022, I was promoted to Social Assistant for Too Faced UK. I look after organic social media for Instagram and Facebook, and paid media for Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube. I manage a small team of content creators, briefing trending content each month and managing their deliverables. 

 

I have gained experience using Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Canva for editing and creating content, Emplifi and Google Analytics for analytics, Sprout Social and Facebook Creator Studio for scheduling content, Facebook Business Suite for paid social and ELC's plethoras of software to navigate the working day.

Junior Content Producer for Smashbox, GLAMGLOW, Bumble and bumble and Lab Series (Jan 2021-July 2022)

Social Media Assistant for Too Faced Cosmetics UK (October 2022 - Present)

• Working on multiple brands social media including; Too Faced Cosmetics, M•A•C Cosmetics, Smashbox Cosmetics, GLAMGLOW, Lab Series, and Bumble and bumble. 

• Planning a content calendar for each of these brands each month consisting of a variety of content for different medium.

• Scheduling all content using Facebook Creator Studio for content to go live on time.

• Manage and brief the social content team who creates content for Too Faced and Smashbox on a monthly basis.

• Shoot and edit photo and video content using Cameras, iPhones and Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Canva.

• Monitoring the community on social via DM's and Comments.

• Reporting every month to understand what is performing and what isn't, using Emplifi and Google Analytics.

• Support the PR team and organise and attend events from a social media perspective to capture content, including the GLAMGLOW SUPERSMOOTH launch event, Smashbox Suicide Squad Screening, Gay Times Honours with Too Faced, Sephora UK Launch Event

• Organise and support on set with shoots in the ELC Studios, planning and briefing the studio team.

• Support toofaced.co.uk by driving traffic adding offers into the organic plan and paid media plan.

• Plan and deliver a paid content strategy during peak Christmas.

• Start using #ImageDescription and Alt-text on all social media posts to be inclusive.
